On the second and third of Februar 2017, the international conference “Parchment, Paper and Pixels. Medieval Writing and Modern Technology” will take place in Maastricht, The Netherlands. The conference is organised by the working group ‘Writing and Writing Practices in the Medieval Low Countries’, (Schrift en Schriftdragers in de Nederlanden in the Middeleeuwen – SSNM) in collaboration with the Huygens Institute for the History of the Netherlands, The Regional Historic Centre Limburg and the Henri Pirenne Institute for Medieval Studies (Ghent University).
