1 December 2015 is the deadline of the next call for submissions of Short-Term Scientific Missions of COST Action IS 1301 ‘New Communities of Interpretation: Contexts, Strategies and Processes of Religious Transformation in Late Medieval and Early Modern Europe’.

With STSMs early career investigators (max. 8 years after obtaining PhD) are given the opportunity to spend five days to three months abroad, in one of the 23 participating countries (including Belgium, see http://www.cost.eu/COST_Actions/isch/IS1301?parties). Twice a year calls are spread among the members of the COST Action and other researchers of the participating countries. For guidelines, terms and conditions, please see the attachment.

Please note that STSMs should preferably be completed by the end of the current Grant (budget) year of the COST Action, which is April 30, 2016. There is extra money available for missions which are completed in the current Grant year and these will be given priority.
